2 Chainz (formerly Tity Boi), is an American hip hop recording artist from College Park, Georgia. His real name is Tauheed Epps he is born on September 12, 1976. He was first known for being one-half of southern hip hop duo Playaz Circle, alongside longtime friend and fellow rapper Earl “Dolla Boy” Conyers. They were best known for their debut single “Duffle Bag Boy”. He is currently signed to Def Jam Records, an imprint of Universal Music Group.
On February 14, 2013, Epps was arrested in Maryland for marijuana possession when he was going to a concert at UMES. Epps was then cited and released.
